With over 25 years of professional teaching and performing experience, I offer personalized instruction tailored to the individual's needs and interests, whether it's in Jazz, Latin, Classical, World Music, and more. Throughout my teaching career, I've successfully guided numerous students to gain admission to prestigious music institutions such as Trinity College of Music - , University of the Arts Cuba (ISA), Appalachian State University Boone, USA, among others.

In the realm of Classical music, I specialize in performance and theory, covering a wide range of stylistic periods from Baroque to contemporary. I emphasize technical development and provide comprehensive instruction on interpretation and improvisation within the jazz genre and its various sub-styles.

As a Brass teacher affiliated with local authority music services , I possess in-depth knowledge of the current syllabus, making me well-equipped to guide students toward successful achievement in grade examinations that govern music education in the UK. I have effectively prepared students for Trinity, Guildhall, and ABRSM examinations from grades one to eight, consistently achieving positive outcomes.

Given my experience teaching university students, I am well-versed in the university entrance examination process and understand the expectations of leading institutions for aspiring musicians seeking to pursue their musical education at an advanced level.

I also offer instruction to children and young individuals interested in exploring their musical potential through trumpet or trombone, without the commitment to pursuing formal degrees.

Rest assured, I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.

Additionally, I can provide recommended methods and study books that may be necessary for students learning journey.

For adults interested in trumpet or trombone lessons, I have an extensive background in teaching students at various levels, from beginners to professionals. During a trial lesson, we can determine the appropriate starting point and establish the frequency of subsequent lessons, whether on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
